Hey! My name is Amanda Valdes and I am part creator of this awareness project. I am currently a senior at Hialeah Gardens Senior High School as well as a member/officer of Model United Nations and several honor societies. With such responsibilities, I find myself dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety on the daily. The idea of turning an assignment in late or missing a club meeting haunts me. As I dealt with this plethora of emotion, I found ways to cope with it. With inspiration from my Personal Adjustment class, I found an escape through meditation. Today, I often find myself meditating when I'm in stressful situations. I hope that with this website and Just Meditate! you can learn more about the importance of maintaining your mental health and bettering yourself!

Hi, everyone! My name is Adriana Rodriguez, and I am part creator of this awareness project. I am currently a senior at Hialeah Gardens Senior High School as well as a member/officer of multiple clubs. Doing so, I undergo lots of stress, pressure, and anxiety. Missing an assignment, getting a bad grade, or simply feeling like my grades/scores aren't sufficiently good enough is enough to put me in a whirlwind of panic. By going through these emotions, I have reached out and learned tips and tricks as to how to manage stress, anxiety, and depression.
